How to testify?
Testifying infront of a governing body can be intimidating but we are here to help! Generally speaking you'll start by identifying yourself, if you are a resident, and then in 1 - 2 paragraphs describe why you are here and close with what actionable items you want to see the group take. The buttons to the right include more resources and examples, including guidance by Wisconsin Conservation Voters with more details that may help you as you begin to craft your statement.

Click here to find the next County Council meeting, typically held Tuesdays at 5:30 pm at Winchester Hall, and join the call with other locals calling for a local Ceasefire Resolution

Opportunities to voice your support for the Palestinian people do not have to stop at the local level, but can continue to the State Level by reaching out to your representatives and pushing them for action in the Maryland General Assembly.

An example action could be asking State Level Representatives to support re-introducing House Join Resolution HJ0002 (2024) - Supporting a Long-Term Ceasefire in Israel and Palestine.
National Level
National Level
Opportunities to voice your support for the Palestinian people do not have to stop at the local level, but can continue to the National Level by calling your representatives and pushing for different objectives like: Supporting Block the Bombs (HR 3565) and asking for a sister bill to be introduced in the Senate or demanding an Arms Embargo for Israel.
